Dr. Michele Wright was invited to speak on STEM/STEAM Edutainment at the Hot Springs Technology Institute 30th annual conference, which also featured renowned doctor, engineer, and NASA astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison, as the keynote speaker, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Dr. Jemison wrote an original success advice letter that was included in Dr. Wright’s 2009 book, “Dear Success Seeker”, alongside 85 other outstanding women leaders. And now, almost 15 years later, she is honored to be back at the table with Dr. Jemison, who, in 1992, became the first African American woman to travel in space. Dr. Jemison has also been inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame and the International Space Hall of Fame.
Dr. Wright is the founder, creator, and CEO of My Water Buddy® and My Learning Buddy® award-winning edutainment platforms that provide opportunities for improving well-being and enhancing educational development. She has expanded access to valuable curricula centered on physical and social-emotional health, as well as STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
