My Water Buddy and Family, Inc. was delighted to learn that The Water Tales Podcast Series won the “Best Children’s Podcast” at the 20th Urban Mediamakers Festival (UMF), which took place October 11-24, 2011.
The 2021 UMF took place virtually and in-person in Gwinnett County with award-winning content from an international group of creatives competing for awards! Actors, content creators, filmmakers and writers met VIRTUALLY for 14 days of film screenings, workshops, panels, script readings, networking, youth films, Urban PitchFest, AfroFuturism Fest, awards ceremony and more at UMF 2021.
A consortium of urban content creators, Urban Mediamakers’ intent is to change the world, one story at a time. In the 21st century, that story can be told and delivered in many ways. Thus, UMF recognizes digital content and media arts as a powerful weapon of choice for making social and positive change.
